Bowman's Castle, also known as Nemacolin Castle, located in Brownsville PA on the east bank of the Mon River. It was built around the original trading post and latter expanded by British colonists during theFrench & Indian War. Construction on the castle, including addition of a tower, continued through the Victorian era, when it was considered an engineering marvel.
